Review Board

Our review Board consists of experienced members applying the highest ethical principles and regulatory understanding in·reviewing human subject research. Collectively, our Board has the expertise to review research in most medical and surgical specialties. Our Board has access to consultants in all fields to provide specific expertise to further enhance our review capabilities.·

Timing

Full Board meetings are held·each week on Mondays at 7:00·pm PST·throughout the year except for holidays and special circumstances. All complete submissions received by·12:00 pm·PST Wednesday, will be reviewed at the following Board meeting. Results of the Board meeting are communicated the following day.

Protocols are reviewed relative to scientific merit as well as safety precautions and consent forms are reviewed to assure that they are constructed so as to conform to FDA guidelines, are easily understood and are non-intimidating to the research subject.
